Survivors of trafficking and slavery: Exhibition at the MShed

Over the weekend we were very excited to have had our Survivors of Trafficking and Slavery Exhibition shown at the MShed. Photographs were taken by 7 women who are survivors of trafficking and modern day slavery. The women are from Albania, Nigeria, Romania, Eritrea and America and are all living in Bristol. We chose specifically to show the voices of survivors in the MShed as it is building that overlooks the docks where slave trade used to take place.

We wanted to show the exhibition this week because it is just after Anti-Slavery Day (18th October) It is important to remember that slavery is still prevalent here in the UK and survivors voices need to be amplified now.
